Self-defined Categories

Even with the thousands of merchant categories JeeQ Data tracks, we know that you may still need more specific product groups to satisfy your business needs. This is why users are able to define their own product categories, according to the way you want to search, sort, and filter the products.

To create a custom Self-defined Product Category, you can either choose a category hierarchy or simply do a porduct search from any merchant websites we supported, then add on your own specfic refinement like color or price range or any other criteria you would like. When you get the target product list showing up and sorted with the order you like, all you need to do is to copy the URL from merchant website and use it to define your JeeQ Data self-defined category. JeeQ Data will add your request to its daily search of top sellers, and then provide you exclusively with the data and reports in the same merchant product category format.

The product ranking order for custom Self-defined Product Categories will be based on the order of product appearance in the return query, sorted by the method you chose on the merchant web site. This means that by using Self-defined Product Categories, you will not only be able to track best seller products, but also any other custom product groups like "Most expensive baby strollers" or "Top rated HDTVs", as long as the merchant site provides the sorting option and you include that sorting method in your URL.
